About the Role
A casual opportunity is available for motivated Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our Rehabilitation team at The Hills Private Hospital. Working under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. You will assist with activities of daily living, promote patient independence and contribute to the delivery of safe, high‑quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
- Have a significant level of nursing skill and proven commitment to flexibility and innovation in practice
- Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to career development
Qualifications
Previous experience in medical/surgical, and/or rehabilitation is essential.
Understanding of National Standards.
A strong commitment to customer service and quality outcomes.
Strong teamwork ethic.
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
