This is a part‑time position. The successful applicant will be required to work 37.5 hours per fortnight.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The role contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the Margaret River Police Station by undertaking a broad range of customer service duties and providing administrative support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver quality customer service to all customers.
- Operate police radio and complete and assist customers with forms and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support and maintain records efficiently.
- Resolve issues to finality, including diffusing difficult situations.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

- Customer service skills – Demonstrating commitment to a quality service for all customers, interacting efficiently and effectively.
- Communication skills – Extracting and conveying information, listening to customers, and resolving issues tactfully and courteously.
- Problem‑solving skills – Evaluating information and providing advice,



recommendations and solutions on financial and other matters.
- Self‑motivation, maturity of outlook and understanding of local cultural issues.
