The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will support the delivery of financial performance across a diverse operational portfolio. Working closely with finance and operational leaders, you'll provide accurate reporting, commercial insights and analysis to drive business performance and support key operational decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Financial and operational performance analysis
- Business partnering with operational and project stakeholders
- Project costing, variance analysis and commercial reporting
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, controls and financial processes
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant role within a commercial or project-based business
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
- Strong experience preparing budgets, forecasts and management reporting
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience
- A commercial mindset with the ability to engage confidently with operational stakeholders
Experience within mining, industrial services, engineering, construction, manufacturing or other heavy industry environments will be highly regarded.
