We’re looking for an exceptional Mixologist & Beverage Manager to lead the beverage program across our group of premium hospitality venues. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines creativity with commercial thinking and has a genuine passion for exceptional guest experiences.

You’ll be responsible for developing exciting beverage offerings, training our teams, improving profitability and setting the standard across every bar.

About the Role

This is a varied role where no two days are the same.

You’ll spend most of your week working alongside & thoroughly training our teams in venue, leading by example behind the bar and on the restaurant floor. One day each week will be dedicated to planning, costing, supplier meetings, menu development and administration from our Head Office located in Southport.

Your typical week will include:

- Leading the beverage program across multiple venues.

- Creating seasonal cocktail menus and signature drinks.

- Developing premium wine lists and beverage pairings.

- Costing cocktails and beverage menus to achieve strong GP targets.

- Negotiating with suppliers and identifying new products.

- Training and mentoring bar teams across all venues.

- Maintaining consistency in recipes, presentation and service.

- Implementing systems, recipes and beverage standards.

- Working regular operational shifts behind the bar and on the floor to support teams and maintain standards.

- Identifying opportunities to improve beverage sales and profitability.

About You





We’re looking for someone who is both creative and commercially minded.

You’ll ideally have:

- Extensive cocktail and mixology experience.

- Minimum 2 years experience in a leadershio role

- Exceptional wine knowledge across Australian and international regions.

- A genuine passion for innovation and creating memorable guest experiences.

- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse costs, margins and sales performance.

- Excellent mathematical skills and confidence costing recipes, menus and beverage programs.

- The ability to take direction while also working independently and driving projects.

- Outstanding leadership and communication skills.

- Experience training, mentoring and inspiring hospitality teams.

- High standards, excellent organisation and attention to detail.

- Current RSA & Drivers Licence

Availability

This position requires availability:

Wednesday to Sunday

Proposed Regular days off:

Monday and Tuesday
