About the role

Big Bubble retail is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Shop Assistants to join our team in Midvale, WA 6056. This is a part-time position offering flexible hours to suit your schedule with possibility to become a full-time position. As a Shop Assistant/Pool Service specialist, delivering exceptional customer service whilst managing pool-related products and services. This role is essential to creating a friendly shopping environment and ensuring our customers receive expert guidance on their purchases.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable assistance with product selection and recommendations

- Processing sales transactions accurately using the till system and handling cash and card payments

- Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing retail space, including stock rotation and shelf replenishment

- Providing expert advice on pool maintenance, chemicals, equipment and seasonal care to ensure customer satisfaction

- Assisting with inventory management and stock checks as required

- Handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally, working towards swift resolutions

- Supporting the team with visual merchandising and promotional activities

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards throughout the store

What we're looking for

- An interest in the mechanics of pool operations (on Job training available)

- Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for helping customers

- Knowledge of pool maintenance and products,



or willingness to develop expertise in this area all on job training available.

- Ability to work flexibly, including potential Saturday shifts

- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Reliability and commitment to maintaining excellent customer service standards
