The role

As a Senior Risk Consultant, you will lead and deliver risk and governance engagements for Voleno clients across a range of industries. You will work closely with Voleno’s Managing Director while taking direct responsibility for client relationships, workshops and the quality and momentum of the work.

Much of the work takes place on client sites in support of senior leaders and often for members of the client’s Executive team. You will lead sessions with functional leaders, management and executive teams on all aspects of risk including policy, maturity assessments, risk analysis and reporting, and related areas.

What you will do

- Delivery of risk management advisory services from strategic reviews and policy, implementation and risk appetite, and ongoing risk support.





- Represent Voleno on client sites, building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

- Prepare Board and executive ready materials, including workshop content and briefing papers, applying analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify key risk drivers.

- Maintain risk management information within the digital risk platform for clients.

- Contribute to proposals, client relationships and the continued development of Voleno’s services and ways of working.

About you

- You are practical, thoughtful and comfortable working directly with clients. You build rapport easily, exercise sound judgement and take responsibility for keeping your work moving.

- You write well, communicate confidently and exercise sound judgement in forming recommendations for senior stakeholders. Importantly, you can take a broad brief, work through the detail and turn it into a clear, well-structured output.

- You will be enjoy working in a small, growing firm in a consulting client-facing role where priorities sometimes change and everyone contributes beyond a narrow job description.

- Experience in writing and preparing executive level materials, along with collaborating directly with senior leadership and executive level stakeholders.





- A tertiary qualification along with relevant work experience is required, preferably in any one of: risk, finance, strategy, law, commerce or development. We are open to people from all skilled backgrounds.

We are open to both part-time and full-time arrangements. Remuneration will reflect your experience and working arrangements.
