In addition to our manufacturing division, we operate a fully equipped mechanical workshop providing repairs and servicing for pressure cleaning equipment, along with an onsite retail store supplying products, parts, and accessories to our customers.

OUR FACILITY: Our near-new workshops and retail store are based in Stapylton (Yatala), Queensland, conveniently located just off the M1 Motorway.
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Small Engine Workshop Mechanic to join our team at our workshop in Stapylton, QLD.
This is a hands-on and varied role where you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing high-pressure water jetters, pressure cleaners and a range of power and plant equipment, including small engines and high-pressure pumps.
This role offers plenty of variety and would suit someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current or recent experience as a Small Engine Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic, or in a similar mechanical role.
- A mechanical trade qualification is preferred; however, applicants with strong mechanical aptitude and relevant hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience servicing, maintaining, repairing and assembling small petrol and diesel engines, high-pressure pumps and associated equipment.
- Experience with 12-volt wiring and accessory installation, including trailer lights, trailer plugs, float switches, battery isolators, emergency stop (E-stop) systems and similar components.
- The ability to diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues across a range of equipment, including small engines, high-pressure pumps and gearboxes.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment as part of a team, while following instructions and completing tasks as directed by management.
- Confidence in educating customers on the correct operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Competence in the safe use of hand tools, power tools and general workshop equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with customers, suppliers and team members.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, ensuring the workshop is kept clean, organised and safe at all times.
- A current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport.
- A current LF Forklift Licence
