The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Operational Support Officer to join our team in Cavan in this newly created position.

This role is integral to the efficient day-to-day operation of our Customer Care, Production, Sales and Distribution functions. Working across multiple areas of the business, you will provide operational, administrative, customer service and logistics support to help ensure customer expectations are met and business operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities include coordinating delivery schedules, processing customer orders, maintaining accurate records, supporting invoicing and warranty administration, stock control and procurement activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, drivers, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure deliveries are executed efficiently and operational requirements are met.

Ideally, you will hold a current MR Licence and Forklift Licence and be willing to assist with delivery driving duties during peak periods, staff leave or other operational requirements. This flexibility will help ensure customer commitments are maintained while complying with all transport and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Support transport scheduling,



delivery planning and logistics activities to ensure customer delivery commitments are met.

- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer and reseller enquiries, processing orders, and communicating delivery updates in a timely and skilled manner.

- Process delivery documentation, invoices, warranty claims, customer orders and other operational administration accurately and within required timeframes.

- Stock control, inventory management, procurement activities and inter-branch stock transfers while maintaining accurate system records.

- Support driver compliance, transport permit administration, WHS requirements, project coordination and general operational activities to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

- Assist with delivery driving duties when required, ensuring compliance with all transport and safety regulations.

- Work collaboratively across Customer Care, Production, Sales and Distribution teams to support business operations and customer outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

- Previous experience in administration, customer service, logistics coordination, transport scheduling, or a similar operational support role.

- Strong computer skills and the ability to accurately process information using ERP systems, Microsoft Office and business software platforms.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

- Proven ability to prioritise workloads, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Commitment to workplace health and safety, company procedures and compliance requirements.





- Current driver's licence and unrestricted right to live and work in Australia.

- MR Licence would be highly regarded.

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Experience using ERP systems, particularly Pronto.

- Experience in inventory control, procurement, stock management or warehouse administration.

- Knowledge of transport scheduling, driver compliance and delivery logistics.

- Forklift Licence.

- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements within an operational environment.
