Johnny, Vince & Sam’s Ristorante is looking for an experienced Casual Restaurant Supervisor to join our front-of-house leadership team in Carlton.

Required: At least 2 years’ hospitality experience, including previous supervisory or team leadership responsibilities

Salary: Restaurant Industry Award Level 4 – $36.81 per hour + superannuation

Location: 306–308 Lygon Street, Carlton VIC 3053

Availability: Nights and weekends, with the potential to work up to 35 hours per week

Johnny, Vince & Sam’s Ristorante is one of Carlton’s most recognisable Italian restaurants, located in the heart of Lygon Street and known for its lively atmosphere, generous Italian food and warm, family-style hospitality.

As the venue continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor who can confidently lead shifts, support the management team and help deliver a smooth and memorable experience for every guest.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys being present on the floor, supporting the team and keeping service running efficiently during busy periods.

You will work closely with the venue management team to coordinate shifts, maintain strong service standards and create a positive environment for both guests and employees.

What You’ll Do

- Lead and support the front-of-house team during service
- Assist with opening, closing and daily shift procedures
- Allocate duties and help coordinate the team throughout each shift
- Maintain strong standards of customer service and presentation
- Respond professionally to guest questions, feedback and concerns
- Support cash handling,



till reconciliation and end-of-shift procedures
- Assist with training and coaching employees during service
- Ensure RSA, food safety and workplace procedures are followed
- Complete manual-handling duties as required
- Work closely with the kitchen and management teams during busy services

What You’ll Bring

- At least 2 years’ experience within hospitality
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or senior front-of-house team member
- A current Victorian RSA certificate
- Previous cash-handling experience
- Confidence leading and supporting a team during busy services
- Robust communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to remain organised and calm in a high-volume environment
- Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays
- Ability to safely perform manual-handling duties
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Previous team-management experience will be highly regarded.
