Main Responsibilities:

The Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes, food safety standards, and customer expectations. The role ensures efficient kitchen operations, maintains food quality and hygiene, and supports the Head Chef in delivering a consistent dining experience.

Main Duties:

Prepare, season, and cook a variety of meals, including appetizers, main courses, desserts, and specialty dishes.

Assist in planning menus and suggesting new dishes based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.

Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to minimise waste and maintain profitability.

Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, including safe food handling procedures.





Inspect and store food supplies appropriately to ensure freshness and minimise spoilage.

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering food ingredients and kitchen supplies.

Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and report any faults or maintenance requirements.

Work collaboratively with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Maintain a clean, organised, and protected kitchen environment at all times.

Assist with training junior kitchen staff where required.

Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
