Casual Role

Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm OR 7:00am to 3:00pm

About the role:

We are seeking a reliable, team-oriented individual who is able to cross-train across various functions within our warehouse. The ideal candidate should be organised, able to pick products accurately, and assist the warehouse team across various different tasks. To succeed in this role, you must hold a valid forklift license and be comfortable with heavy lifting. As a critical part of our daily operations, we are looking for someone responsible and dependable who is committed to strictly adhering to their rostered hours.

Responsibilities include

- Picking & Packing: Using a scanner to pick, pack and label orders efficiently, safely and with a high level of accuracy.
- Pallet Building & Wrapping:



Securely pack items onto pallets and wrap them effectively using both hand wrap and machine stretch-wrap to ensure stability during transport.
- Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Assist with unloading containers and put-away, loading delivery vehicles and ensuring outbound stock is going out with the correct courier
- Forklift Operations: Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organise pallets and heavy inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Customer Collections: Greet and assist customers picking up orders directly from the warehouse, ensuring a professional experience and safe loading into their vehicles.
- Warehouse Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse environment, keeping lanes clear and disposing of packaging waste.
- Safety & WHS Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, including correct manual handling techniques for lifting heavier boxes.
- Team Flexibility: Cross-train across different roles and assisting the team with other warehouse tasks when required.

What we're looking for:

- A team player with a positive can-do attitude, who is willing to be hands on.
- Able to safely lift cartons in the warehouse.
- Candidate must have a forklift license.
- Organised, effective, and accurate with completing tasks.
- Responsible and dependable, committed to strictly adhering to their rostered hours.
- Diligent and takes accountability for their tasks. Can work both within a team, and also autonomously.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 per hour
