What you'll be doing
This position is suitable for JMOs (in general PGY 2-4) with an interest in intensive care medicine who are looking to gain valuable experience. Some may be preparing to sit the primary exam recognized by the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM).

- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.





- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a supervised environment.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Evidence of continued professional development and self-education.

- Demonstrated valuable organisational and time management skills.

- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.

- Demonstrated career goal to undertake further training in intensive care medicine and demonstrated aptitude for intensive care medicine in terms of cognitive and technical skills among others.

- Minimum 2 years full time post-graduate hospital experience including critical care experience. PGY3 or above by the time the ICU SRMO position starts.

- Demonstrated commitment to work in shift work (12.5 hours shift) as day shifts and Night shifts as per the Roster requirements.
