- Two-year temporary Clerk Grade 7/8 ($116,981 - $129,492 per annum) opportunity with Investment NSW based in Martin Place, Sydney.
About the Role
As an Associate, Business and Skilled Migration, you will support delivery of the NSW skilled migration program, helping address workforce needs by enabling skilled migrants to contribute to the local economy and innovation.
Your principal focus will be on setting up and implementing the NSW Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA). As part of this work, you will:
- Provide project management and support services, including preparing reports and briefs, maintaining project documentation, coordinating resources, and monitoring project plans to deliver outcomes on time, within scope and to quality standards.
- Research, gather and analyse data to inform guidelines and strategies that contribute to the NSW Migration Strategy, while preparing briefings, correspondence, advice and presentations on migration matters.
- Support compliance with state and federal visa requirements and contribute to process improvement, audit and legislative requirements.

We’re Looking For
- Project Management: Experience providing high-level project management and support activities, including planning, documentation, monitoring, reporting and risk management.
- Migration Program Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the Commonwealth’s migration and NSW skilled and business migration programs and strategies.
- Communication and Advice: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare briefings, papers, correspondence, advice and presentations for a range of audiences.
- Analysis and Problem Solving: Ability to research and analyse information, use evidence to make recommendations, and identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, respond to queries, share information and support successful program outcomes.
