We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our Kelvin Grove team. This role is ideal for a professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality haircuts, grooming services and outstanding customer experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Providing professional barbering services including men's haircuts, fades, clipper cuts and styling.
- Shaving, trimming and shaping beards and moustaches.
- Consulting with clients and providing advice on hair care, grooming products and suitable hairstyles.
- Shampooing hair and maintaining scalp health where required.
- Using scissors, clippers and razors safely and effectively to achieve desired results.
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and professional work workplace, including sanitising tools and equipment.
- Managing client appointments, processing payments and delivering excellent customer service.
- Contributing to a positive team culture and upholding the high standards of the Ben Scissorhands brand.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:

- A minimum of one (1)



year of recent experience working as a Barber or Hairdresser/Barber.
- Demonstrated experience performing fades, clipper work, beard grooming and men's styling.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Relevant trade qualifications, such as an AQF Certificate III in Hairdressing (including barbering skills), or AQF Certificate IV or equivalent relevant qualification.
- A commitment to workplace hygiene, professionalism and client satisfaction.
