KLN Cold Chain are recruiting for an experienced Diesel Technician. This role will work with management and drivers to ensure all company vehicles are always road worthy and secure. The Diesel Technician will be compliant with workplace and legislative obligations whilst contributing to the efficiency of our fleet of vehicles.

The key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

- Repair and maintenance of the fleet and perform preventative maintenance
- Minor and major repairs on fleet
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in diesel engines and related systems, performing necessary repairs and replacements
- Perform detailed inspection of diesel engines, vehicles
- Maintaining a parts inventory
- Test drive vehicles to ensure roadworthiness
- Prepare work orders and ordering of parts.
- Maintaining detailed records of services and repairs;




- Work closely with other technician and supervisors

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

- Driver’s License
- Engineering or similar trade qualification
- Experience in similar working environment for at least 5 years
- Experience in Diesel mechanics
- Strong technical skills
