Job Summary
The Last Slice (TLS) is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Barista to join our team. We're seeking someone who is passionate about coffee, enjoys providing excellent customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced café environment.
Weekend availability is essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, coffee station, and dining area.
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods as part of a team.
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of barista experience (non-negotiable — applicants without this will not be considered)
- Must live within 10km of Sydney Olympic Park
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality coffee.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and public holidays.
- Full working rights in Australia.
