Cook Wanted – Join Our Team at Sushi Jones (Alexandria, Sydney)

We’re a Japanese restaurant based in Alexandria, and we’re currently looking for a cook who is interested in long-term work at Sushi Jones.

You don’t need to have a lot of experience — what matters most to us is your passion for cooking and your motivation to grow as a chef. If you’re serious about learning and want to build a future in the kitchen, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Our kitchen can get busy, so we’re looking for someone who can stay calm under pressure and work efficiently. If you love Japanese food or are interested in learning more about it, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role:

Duties include:





- Hot food cooking
- Deep fry cooking
- Sushi roll making
- Cleaning and general kitchen duties

Work hours:

Tuesday to Friday - Lunch (9:45am to 2:30pm)

Wednesday to Saturday - Dinner (4:30pm to Close)
