About the Role:

Our restaurant is looking for a qualified chef that can manage a busy kitchen which serves food for UP TO 120 SEATS and of course our amazing functions.

Showcasing a proven track record of leading by example, and a passion to deliver quality food consistently, the right Chef will:

- Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs and order food supplies
- Deliver high quality dishes, consistently well, in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Work fast, clean and able to motivate the team through leading by example
- Discuss any food preparation issues with managers and other staff
- Demonstrate techniques and advice on cooking procedures
- Meet all health and hygiene requirements
- Demonstrated ability to maintain food safety standards and understanding of HACCP.
- Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles.
- Select and train staff if needed
- Freeze and preserve foods accordingly

About you:





You must possess the following skills:

- Equivalent of Australian certificate III or higher in commercial cookery plus 2 year work experience in relevant roles.
- Working and thriving under time pressure
- Pride in your food presentation
- Excellent food hygiene and safety practices
- High Personal grooming standards
- Can do attitude with a passion for the Hospitality industry
- Amazing time management skills and work ethic
- Must have a LOVE for food and a great attitude
- Friendly and outgoing personality (Essential)
- VERSATILE ROSTER IS A MUST
