The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Reporting Analyst to join our Business Service Central (BSC) Data & Reporting team in Brisbane on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Reporting Analyst, you will play a key role in evolving our reporting and analytics capabilities. This includes supporting the rollout of a recent enterprise data platform, adapting to changing business needs driven by firm integration activity, and helping modernise how data is delivered and consumed across the firm.

This critical role will be responsible for developing insightful, user-focused dashboards and reports, moving away from legacy spreadsheet-driven processes towards scalable, BI-led solutions.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a changing environment, with stakeholders across the firm.

Please note, this role is internally titled as BSC Data Analyst.

A full job description including a breakdown of responsibilities can be found attached to the role on our careers page: ashurstperkinscoie.com/en/careers/

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, advanced formulas, PivotTables, and working confidently with large and complex datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful, actionable insights.
- Experience building positive working relationships with stakeholders and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset, with a genuine willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop your skills.

While experience with modern analytics tools is valued (e.g. Power Bi, SQL, Databricks), we are equally interested in candidates who demonstrate a strong learning mindset, embrace current challenges, and are eager to grow their technical capability.

We value diverse perspectives at Ashurst Perkins Coie, so even if you don't feel you meet all of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply.

If you require any support and adjustments to participate equitably in our recruitment process or in the workplace, please contact: [email protected] for a confidential conversation.

If you are interested in this chance, please apply directly to Ashurst Perkins Coie. We prefer to talk with you personally and are not accepting applications from recruitment agencies.
