About the Role

We are seeking reliable and motivated Farm Hands to join a well-established poultry farm located in Peats Ridge. This is an ongoing, long-term position with genuine opportunities for advancement into leading hand and supervisory roles for candidates who demonstrate commitment and capability.
This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to animal welfare and biosecurity standards. You will be on your feet for most of your shift and involved in a variety of daily farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitoring feed,



water, and poultry welfare
- Handling birds safely and humanely
- Floor walking and completing shed inspections
- Loading and moving trolleys
- Assisting with shed clean-outs
- Performing repetitive and physically demanding farm duties
- Completing basic record keeping and light administrative tasks

About You
To be considered for this role, you must:

- Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport (remote location)
- Not own any poultry, birds, or pigs due to strict biosecurity requirements
- Have strong safety awareness and an understanding of quarantine practices
- Be physically fit and comfortable performing repetitive manual work
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and good time management
- Work effectively within a team environment
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Hold full Australian working rights

Previous poultry farm experience or experience working with livestock will be highly regarded and considered an advantage; however, full training will be provided for the right candidates.
