About the Role

At Velox Security, based in Seven Hills, NSW, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for full time role to support the smooth functioning of our systems and processes across the organisation.

Role Purpose:

This role will play a crucial role in driving our business forward and ensuring the smooth functioning of our systems and processes. Main responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at enhancing our business operations and delivering value to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborating with users to articulate and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Identifying, investigating, and analysing existing business processes, procedures, and work practices to uncover inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluating inefficiencies and proposing optimal business practices, as well as recommending
- enhancements to system functionality and behaviour.
- Utilizing project management methodologies to develop comprehensive project plans, oversee project costs and resources, and manage project execution.
- Taking ownership of deploying functional solutions, including the creation, adoption,



and implementation of system test plans to ensure system quality and integrity.
- Developing user and training documentation and conducting formal training sessions to facilitate user adoption and proficiency.
- Crafting functional specifications to guide system developers in the design and development of system software
- Employing data and process modelling techniques to produce clear system specifications for the design and development of websites, apps, and systems.
- Serving as a central point of reference and information source, offering guidance and assistance in system project decision-making processes.
- Collaborating with users and programmers to design improvements to the functionality of websites, apps, and systems, ensuring alignment with user needs and technological capabilities.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience
- At least 2-3 years of experience in similar position
- Should have full-time working rights in Australia

Salary - $85,000 - $95,000 plus super
