The Opportunity

Join Veolia ANZ in our West Perth office as our Projects and Engineering Manager, where you'll lead our team to deliver exceptional project outcomes across WA and SA.. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to develop and lead a high performing team of project and engineering delivery resources, while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business success.

What's on offer

Lead a team to achieve time, cost, and quality objectives

Oversee a portfolio of projects up to $30M per project typically, ensuring seamless technical, commercial, and SHEQ integration

What you'll be responsible for

Manage and deliver the WA/SA Resource Recovery and Environmental Services project portfolio on time, on budget, on quality

Lead and coordinate project delivery teams to achieve project objectives





Ensure seamless project execution through effective change management and stakeholder alignment

Drive project success through technical, commercial, and operational expertise

Provide regular progress updates and identify areas for improvement

Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth

Develop and motivate a high performing team to deliver exceptional results

What you'll need to be successful

Bachelor of Engineering or other relevant tertiary qualifications, civil engineering preferred

Experience in technical services consulting and design Demonstrated ability to manage civil infrastructure projects up to approx. $20 million

Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to manage project budgets, negotiate contracts, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial performance aligns with business objectives

Strong contract management skills, including dispute negotiation experience

Proven ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of site works and construction projects from initiation through completion. Strong experience in contractor management a must

Solid self-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, make independent decisions, and drive projects forward without constant supervision

Experience in an operation workplace preferred
