Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge mine is located on the traditional lands of Nyamal peoples.
Roster: 4D3R, 4D3R, 8D6R ex Perth
Fortescue is seeking a dynamic and passionate Trainer and Assessor with a robust understanding of mining operations to join our Iron Bridge Drill and Blast training Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Drill and Blast Operations Training and Assessing
- Delivery of specific Training and assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments
- Facilitation of classroom-based Training and Inductions
- Administrative and scheduling duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Current Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
- Previous comparable equipment experience
- Drill and Blast experience including Shotfiring
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Drill and Blast practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional manner
- Autonomous Drilling System experience (preferred but not essential)
- Experienced Operator on the following equipment is essential
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- SuccessFactors experience highly regarded
