As a Credit Assessor, you are responsible for assessing new home loan applications, ensuring they meet lender policy and serviceability requirements before submission. You will prepare, submit, and manage applications through to formal approval, liaising with lenders and internal teams to resolve any issues. Your attention to detail and strong understanding of lending policy will help deliver quality outcomes for our clients while ensuring applications progress as efficiently as possible.
Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact with the funder's assessor, responding to queries and coordinating any additional documentation required.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales Consultants, the wholesale funder, and solicitors to facilitate smooth application and settlement processes.

Experience
- Strong credit knowledge: An in-depth understanding of our wholesale funder's credit policies and a solid working knowledge of the major banks' lending policies, enabling confident assessment of loan scenarios and accurate guidance to Sales Consultants.
