We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer – Tailings to join the team in our Perth office, with proven experience delivering geotechnical solutions for tailings storage facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams to develop, optimise and deliver geotechnical design solutions
- Plan and undertake site investigations
- Contribute to and lead elements of detailed geotechnical design across a range of projects
- Provide technical input into the design, assessment, and ongoing management of tailings storage facilities
- Prepare and review technical reports, design documentation and calculations, ensuring alignment with relevant standards and best practice
Qualifications/Experience/Attributes
- Qualified Geotechnical/Civil Engineer
- Good analytical skills
- Knowledge of geotechnical design software will be viewed favourably but it is not essential (Plaxis, Rocscience Slide, RSPile, Settle3, LimitState Geo etc.)
- Experience working on tailings storage facilities.
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Current Australian drivers license
- Combination of office-based and field-based work, ability to travel
