Description

The steel sales assistant would work in our sales department alongside our sales manager. They are primarily responsible for telephone sales, greeting and serving customers as they enter the store and have knowledge and understanding with the products we sell. Be able to process orders and sale transactions and ensure that delivery requirements are met. Data entry, invoicing and general administration duties are required. Assist in manual handling of materials and keeping the store area and surroundings clean and tidy.

Essential Skills

- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as a part of a team
- Experience in a similar sales role
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- WHS knowledge and awareness

Desirable Skills

- Forklift Licence
- Heavy Ridged Truck Licence
- White Card qualification (Construction Induction Training Card)

Remuneration

- Full time Permanent position of 38hrs per week




- Pay rate will depending on experience and qualifications
- Penalty rates apply for overtime and weekend hours
