What you’ll be doing

- Provide person-centred support to people experiencing mental health challenges
- Help people build confidence, independence and practical everyday living skills
- Create positive, trusting relationships that help people feel safe, respected and supported
- Encourage people to participate in their community, work toward personal goals and enjoy meaningful experiences
- Recognise changes in wellbeing and respond calmly, appropriately and in line with individual support plans
- Provide consistent support during periods of emotional distress or heightened behaviours
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other members of the person’s support network
- Maintain accurate documentation and explicit professional boundaries

You’re the right person if...

- You have previous experience supporting people with mental health needs, psychosocial disability or complex behaviours
- You understand recovery-focused, trauma-informed and person-centred support




- You remain calm under pressure and approach challenges with patience, empathy and professionalism
- You can build genuine relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries
- You’re observant, reliable and confident communicating changes in a person’s wellbeing
- You take pride in delivering consistent, respectful and high-quality support
- You’re committed to learning, growing and making a positive difference every day
