An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and experienced Parts Interpreter Adviser to join our small, high-performing team based in Newport/Akuna Bay. This role is ideal for a well-organised and enthusiastic individual with a strong marine or motor mechanical background.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process orders and quotes in line with Parts Department procedures
- Manage the pre-delivery process for both new and used boating packages
- Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding parts enquiries
- Assist with service bookings, customer follow-up calls and general enquiries
- Support the team with boat drop-offs and pick-ups as required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Work closely with the Managing Director and broader team to ensure smooth operations
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within the marine or motor industry
- Technically minded with solid mechanical and parts knowledge
- Demonstrated history of delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent communication skills, strong grammar, and high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a small team
- Proactive, adaptable, accountable and driven to achieve results
- Previous experience as a Technician or within the new/used parts sector is highly regarded
- Must hold a Vehicle and Marine Driver’s Licence
- Must have full Australian working rights
