Description:

Beyond Limits Outdoor Education (Beyond Limits) is a growing ministry of the Uniting Church in Australia and provides activity programs for groups who stay at Adare, Nunyara and Tarooki campsites as well as other sites across South Australia.

An opportunity exists for two permanent, full-time Activity Facilitators / Senior Activity Facilitators / Lead Activity Facilitators (depending on skills, qualifications and experience) to provide confident and positive leadership in the provision of experiential learning programs.

Reporting to the Program Manager; the Facilitator’s tasks include:

- demonstrate, by example, the provision of exceptional Christian hospitality
- facilitate activity programs consistent with skills, qualifications and experience
- ensure that activity equipment is stored, used and maintained is a safe and efficient manner and that compliance checks are conducted in a timely manner
- be prepared to assist the Program Coordinators as opportunities arise.





The successful applicant will be required to have experience in leading outdoor leadership / recreation programs and / or any formal tertiary or other qualifications in outdoor leadership / recreation. In addition, the successful applicant will have:

- the ability to work unsupervised and to also work in a team environment
- the ability and willingness to be adaptable and solution focused
- a passion for developing the potential of young people.

Experience within the outdoor leadership / recreation and / or camp industry is expected. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are a must in this role, as is your demonstrated commitment to a mainstream Christian denomination.
