RG McGees is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Venue Manager to join our management team. Our ideal candidate has worked in a similar style venue and is comfortable managing a multi-faceted business whilst on shift. The Role:
- The overall operations of the business whilst of shift
- Leading and managing a team
- Regular coaching, training, and mentoring of staff to improve service standards.
- Cost control with a focus on labour
- Ensuring the team is delivering excellent customer service.
- A good understanding of Gaming
- Adherence & reporting to compliance and legislative matters
- Entertainment, Lighting and atmosphere
- Improvement in operations and service
- About you:
- An understanding and appreciation of gaming
- Strong knowledge of food & beverage
- Robust leadership skills
- An ability to think outside the square.
- Proven experience working in a small but multi-faceted business.
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of current liquor legislation
- Hands-on approach with a natural ability to lead a team to be the best they can.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
