We are seeking one or potentially two dedicated, compassionate and reliable NDIS Support Workers to assist two of our clients living in Ballarat. Work will be one-on-one with our clients to provide assistance with community participation, daily living support and light cleaning. Previous Support Work experience and relevant qualifications as well as experience with ASD, OCD and vision impairment are preferred but not required. Ability to attend these shifts every week is a requirement, if you have other work or some other reason that would stop you from attending these shifts on a consistent weekly basis then you will not be an appropriate fit for these clients and their routines.
Regular weekly shifts will be:
Monday 9:00am - 1:00pm
Tuesday 11:00am - 1:00pm
Wednesday 9:00am - 11:00am x2 (2 shifts available at same time with same client)
Thursday 1:30pm - 3:30pm x2 (2 shifts available at same time with same client)
Friday 9:00am - 12:00pm, 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Duties:
- Domestic assistance (cooking/baking and cleaning)
- Community participation
- Assistance with meal planning
- Transportation
- Assistance with completing home exercises
- Appropriate documentation and completion of shift notes
- Supporting client to become more independent and achieve their goals
Requirements:
- Victorian drivers license and vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Rights to work in Australia
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 23.0 per week
