About the Role

Due to exciting growth within our Helidon Assembly Plant, we are looking for motivated and safety-focused Operators to join our new Automated Detonator Assembly (ADA) team.

As an ADA Operator, you'll play an important role in operating our state-of-the-art automated manufacturing technology, helping produce high-quality electronic detonator products used across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Working as part of a high-performing team, you'll contribute to safe, reliable and efficient production while developing your skills in a modern automated manufacturing environment.

This role operates on a lifestyle roster of 12-hour shifts across a day and night rotation, providing flexibility and supporting work-life balance.

You'll be responsible for:
Safely operating and monitoring the Automated Detonator Assembly machine

Packaging finished detonator assemblies to quality standards

Maintaining a strong Zero Harm safety culture

Monitoring raw material requirements and replenishment activities

Verifying production counts and reconciling discrepancies through SAP

Following quality, safety and production procedures

Participating in daily team meetings and continuous improvement activities

Maintaining accurate traceability records and production documentation

Supporting housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organised work area

Working collaboratively with team members and key site stakeholders to achieve production targets

Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and procedures

Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills

The ability to work a rotating day and night shift roster and overtime when required

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

A willingness to undertake training to meet role requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment will be highly regarded, although full training will be provided
