About the role

Join the hardworking team at Active Mail as a Bindery Operator. This full time position in our Kurnell, NSW office is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our leading mailing services company. As a Bindery Operator, you will play a vital role in the finishing stages of our printing process, ensuring our high-quality products are delivered on time and to the exact specifications of our clients.

What you'll be doing

- Operate and maintain a variety of bindery equipment including folding machines, stitching machines, trimming machines, and other post-press machinery
- Prepare and set up bindery equipment for specific jobs, including loading materials and making adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with the wider production team to streamline workflows and maximize efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all relevant health and safety guidelines

What we're looking for





- At least 1 year of experience as a Bindery Operator or in a similar role within the printing/mailing industry
- Proficient in the use of a variety of bindery equipment and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy and efficiency
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the wider production team
- A keen interest in the printing and publishing industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
