Stainless Steel Pipe Welders — Sydney

We're after experienced stainless steel pipe welders for upcoming mechanical installation projects across Sydney. Ongoing work, 10–12 hour days, excellent contractor rates.

Responsibilities:

- TIG weld stainless steel tube and pipework in workshop
- Read and work from isometrics, drawings and technical docs
- Measure, mark and prep pipework ready for welding
- Set up and run your own gear
- Purge welding, clean internal and external finish, every joint
- Weld to spec and to the relevant standards
- Complete work packs, including material and weld traceability
- Check your own work, every weld meets standard, no defects
- Keep your equipment maintained and in valuable nick
- Reliable transport to Sydney metro sites

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a stainless steel pipe welder
- Strong TIG (GTAW) skills
- Solid purge welding experience and high-quality finishes
- Able to achieve X-ray quality welds on stainless
- Confident reading isometric and engineering drawings
- Construction White Card
- Full Australian working rights

Pay: $63.00 – $68.00 per hour
