At Muddy Matcha, we're building something a little different.
We're a specialty matcha bar connected to one of Australia's fastest-growing pottery studios, creating an experience where creativity, craftsmanship and hospitality come together. We're looking for a passionate Pastry Chef to help shape the next chapter of our café.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for producing high-quality pastries and baked goods while contributing new seasonal ideas and maintaining exceptional presentation and consistency.
You'll have the opportunity to help develop a menu that complements our specialty matcha program and become part of a small, creative team that genuinely loves what they do.
Responsibilities
- Produce pastries, cakes, cookies and baked goods to a consistently high standard
- Prepare products for daily service
- Assist with seasonal menu development
- Maintain food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels and ordering requirements
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute ideas and creativity to our growing business
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience as a Pastry Chef or qualified pastry cook
- Takes pride in quality and presentation
- Is organised and works well under pressure
- Enjoys working within a close-knit team
- Is reliable, positive and eager to learn
- Has a genuine passion for hospitality

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
