FILTEC is the most successful privately owned Water Treatment Solutions business in Current Zealand, with our newest two offices here in Australia. As recent market entrant here in Australia, we are already building a strong reputation through our proven track record. (FILTEC ANZ group has experienced double digit year on year growth for over three decades).

The Australian business accounts for about 30% of our revenue and 15% of our headcount here in ANZ. Over the past 3 years we have laid the foundations for a successful project delivery business. Now we’re ready to resource the team for growth! We have multiple vacancies in VIC & QLD within the Project team. We have transformed from an equipment Sales and Service company; into a business also offering design and construct solutions.

FILTEC’s Project Team contains five dynamic engineers who have delivered $7m of projects last year with a pipeline of over $20m for FY27. Looking forward FILTEC has a pipeline of stimulating and varied projects with water corporations, council and industrial businesses.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

“A rounded role, directly managing, supervising, and facilitating projects” - oversee design, delivery and commissioning tasks by:

- Working with the Engineering team to produce high-quality bids demonstrating ‘value-for-money’
- Collaborating with the Design & Process Engineers to layout and engineer solutions (Specs, drawings/models and P&lD;'s)
- Scheduling for all project materials (equipment, valves, instruments)
- Managing deliverables and work on Project Management plans and completing FILTEC risk gate reviews.
- Ensuring HSE & HAZOP
- Keeping record of all relevant Technical, Quality and Client information
- Communicating internally & externally

SUCCESS PROFILE

1) Passion & Experience in Project Delivery
2) Ambition to join nimble protean firm; rather than ordinary, generic D&C; contractor
3) Tertiary qualifications such as a Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering OR Engineering Management
4) A background in Water Treatment is beneficial but not essential – any other ‘Engineer, Procure, Install’ OR ‘Design & Construct’ experience is valued
