About the Role

BAKE’D is preparing to open a new venue in Bankstown, and we are currently building our opening team.

We are hiring:

2 Part time Baristas

Successful applicants will initially complete paid training shifts at our established BAKE’D Punchbowl venue. Once BAKE’D Bankstown opens, regular shifts will move to the Bankstown location.

We are looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking baristas who enjoy fast-paced hospitality, take pride in producing high-quality coffee and are committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Barista Responsibilities

- Prepare high-quality espresso coffee, teas and specialty drinks
- Dial in the coffee machine and maintain consistency throughout the shift
- Texture milk correctly and maintain presentation standards
- Keep the coffee station clean, stocked and organised
- Assist with customer service, order taking and food running when required
- Complete bar opening, closing and cleaning duties
- Work efficiently and maintain quality during busy periods
- Communicate effectively with the wider front-of-house and kitchen teams





Skills and Experience

- Previous barista experience is preferred
- Confident with espresso preparation and milk texturing
- Strong understanding of coffee quality and consistency
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Able to travel to Punchbowl for initial paid training
- Available to work at Bankstown once the venue opens

Pay: $33.85 – $40.62 per hour
