About us:

‘Fortress Melbourne’ is a games and esports entertainment venue like no other. The 1,000 capacity venue includes a 800 sq/m 200-seat live esports arena (the ‘Alienware Arena’), 150 premium gaming PCs, old school arcade games, two licensed and originally-themed bars, private party spaces, a full-service Tavern restaurant holding specially created VIP video game booths and designated board game / tabletop areas, merchandise store, dedicated streamer pods, and a live broadcast production facility.

About the role:

We are constantly on the lookout for amazing people to join our team. You might be a cocktail rockstar looking for a new challenge or maybe you've got some mad restaurant skills on the floor and are looking to expand your horizons. We regularly have openings for positions in our customer service team, where we handle everything from serving tables and making cocktails, to helping guests with PC gaming and board games.

The ideal candidates must have:

-
At least 2 years experience working in a food & beverage setting

- Outstanding customer service skills

- Cocktail making experience (desired but not essential)

- Barista experience (also desired but not essential)

- Experience servicing large crowds of up to 1000 people

- A valid VIC Responsible Serving of Alcohol certificate

- A valid Working with Children's Check (this must be obtained before employment commences)

- Confidence dealing with customer complaints and resolution

- Energetic & have the ability to multi-task & adapt in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent personal presentation & have a positive 'can do' attitude; and

- Be flexible & available to work across a roster including week days, evenings, weekends & public holidays

- Full ongoing rights to work in Australia
