The role
We’re seeking a warm, organised Dental Nurse/Receptionist to split time between chairside assistance . This is a patient-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional care.

Key responsibilities

- Provide efficient chairside assistance: instrument preparation, suctioning, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean, safe operatory.
- Sterilisation and infection control in line with current standards and practice protocols.
- Prepare patients for treatment and deliver explicit post-op instructions with empathy and clarity.
- Reception duties: greet patients, manage phones and emails, schedule/confirm appointments.
- Accurate clinical notes, patient record management, and stock control.
- Support dentists and oral health therapists across general and cosmetic procedures.
- Contribute to a positive, calm, and professional team culture.

About you

- Qualified Dental Nurse or experienced Dental Assistant preferred; recent grads also welcome.
- Prior dental reception experience and familiarity with practice software (e.g.,



Exact/SOE or similar) highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a patient-first mindset.
- Strong attention to detail, reliable time management, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Understanding of infection prevention and control standards.
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
