Chartered Accountant /Supervisor

The role:
Managing your own workload, you will be a part of a team of 7 and your role will roughly be a split of 70% Accounting and 30% guiding the remote support team.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Managing high-net-worth individuals - business and personal accounting
- Managing the support team of 5 (4 remote O/S-based accountants + 1 local P/T admin)
- Checking your teams work
- Savouring the variety in your role - personal tax/SMSF/trusts/business tax - some of which includes complex and interesting facets
About you:
We are looking for a supportive and experienced accountant to join the existing team with a solid focus on mentoring and supporting junior accountants and helping them to develop their skills.
We are ideally looking for the following key skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting (Essential) as well as CA or CPA.
- A minimum of 5 years of Accounting experience
- Experience in a public practice tax firm (Essential)
- At least 2 years management or supervisory experience
- Friendly, professional, and supportive nature
- A team player mindset

Housekeeping:
Your hours will ideally be 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (flexible)
This role will be based mostly on site due to the leadership responsibilities, but there is some flexibility to accommodate a day here or there working from home when needed.
