Busy private practice requires physiotherapist to join a highly reputable clinic that takes pride in the level of care provided to its clients.
Applicants must have a hands on approach, to a wide and varied MSK Outpatients caseload, including Aged Care, NDIS delivery and both Group and individual Pilates and Hydrotherapy.
They will need to be committed to the clinic as well as the community and able to work both independently and as part of a small team in a rural setting.
Skills & Experience - :
Tertiary Qualification within Physiotherapy, ideally with a year of outpatient’s experience.
Current full registration with AHPRA & working rights within Australia.
The successful candidate will utilise their experience to be able to independently apply professional knowledge and judgment when performing novel, complex, or critical tasks specific to a wide and diverse physiotherapy case load.
Skills you will require include:
- high levels of specialist MSK knowledge and skill as recognised by the employer;
- the ability to actively contribute to the development of professional knowledge and skills in your field of work as demonstrated by positive impacts on service delivery, positive referral patterns and quantifiable/measurable improvements in health outcomes across the wider rural community;
- You must have the ability to be a sole discipline specific health professional in a rural setting and practice in professional isolation if required from other health professionals from the same discipline;
- You must be able to perform across a number of recognised specialties within out patient physiotherapy in a private setting,; these include delivery of Aged Care and NDIS physiotherapy, as well as group Pilates and Hydrotherapy sessions to the local community.
- You may need be accountable for allocation and/or expenditure of resources and ensuring targets are met and shoulder responsibility for ensuring optimal budget outcomes for your customers and communities; particularly in the Aged Care and NDIS settings.
- You will need to be responsible for providing training, regular feedback and appraisals for junior staff to improve health outcomes for customers and for maintaining a performance management system; and
- be responsible for providing support for the efficient, cost effective and timely delivery of services.
Remuneration - $80,000 to $85,000pa plus superannuation dependent on experience.
