An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Casual Practice Nurse to join our General Practice Clinic, situated in Moama along the Murray River.

The successful applicant should be able to work independently, with current general practice experience a bonus. You will be a key member of our team, delivering patient care in a professional, effective and caring manner in collaboration with a group of experienced and supportive team of doctors and staff.

You will be part of a team responsible for, however not limited to, the following:

- Immunisations
- Assist and support GP's with minor procedures
- Recall and reminder systems
- Supporting GP's in chronic disease management- Health Assessments and Care Plans
- ECG
- Spirometry
- Acute and chronic wound care
- Infection control & procedures
- Maintaining cold chain management systems
- Triage

To be considered for this chance,



applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Previous nursing experience in Australia of at least 1 year
- Current registration in Australia or Australian Resident
- Previous experience in General practice highly regarded, training provided to the right candidate
- Proficient computer skills – knowledge of Best Practice an advantage
- Ability to be proactive and work within a team
- Demonstrated time management and flexibility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Work Days:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- General practice: 1 year (Preferred)
