COMO SOCIALE is a brand-new semi fine dining Italian restaurant opening in the heart of Ballarat, and we're looking for enthusiastic, experienced and motivated hospitality professionals to join our opening team.
Our menu celebrates Italian flavours with premium local produce, handcrafted pasta, artisan pizzas, premium steaks, fresh seafood, signature desserts, craft cocktails, an extensive Italian and Australian wine list, premium spirits and local tap beers.

Positions Available;
Head Chef
We're looking for a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Head Chef
- Experience in Italian cuisine or premium casual/semi fine dining preferred
- Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
- Experience with food costing, stock control and menu development
- Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
- High standards of food quality and presentation
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
Chefs & Cooks
We are also looking for experienced:
- Range of Chefs
- Qualified Cooks
What we're looking for:
- Passion for Italian cuisine
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Pride in presentation and consistency
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Experience in busy restaurant kitchens preferred
Bartenders
We're looking for energetic bartenders who love creating great guest experiences.
You'll have experience with:
- Craft cocktails
- Classic cocktails
- Wine service
- Spirits
- Tap beer
- Excellent customer service
Coffee-making experience is essential, as you'll also be preparing quality espresso coffee.
Wait Staff
If you love hospitality and creating amazing guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
Experience in:
- Restaurant table service
- Wine knowledge (preferred but not essential)
- POS systems
- Customer service
- Upselling food and beverages
