About the Role

We’re seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team in a new site in Hamlyn Terrace. In this role, you’ll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You’ll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.

Key responsibilities include:

Deliver active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plans

- Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)

- Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans

- Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport

- Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders

- Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records

- Work collaboratively within a close-knit team

- Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines

Who We’re Looking For

- Willing to work sleepover shifts, weekends,



and public holidays

- Experience with supporting clients with challenging behaviours

- Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles

- Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient

- Experienced in disability support (preferred)

- Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable)
