Our client is currently seeking experienced MR Drivers to join their team, delivering plate glass products throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area from their manufacturing facilities located in Royal Park and Melrose Park.
This is a casual position offering 38 hours per week, with a 6:00am start time. For the right candidate, there is a genuine opportunity for permanent employment following a successful qualifying period.
About the Role
As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of glass products while providing excellent customer service and maintaining high safety standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Current and valid MR or HR Driver's Licence
- Proven and reliable work history
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting
- Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
- Physically fit and capable of manually loading and unloading heavy materials
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and oral drug screening
- Current National Police Check
Desirable Experience
The following experience will be highly regarded but is not essential:
- Glass manufacturing industry experience
- Knowledge of glass products and handling procedures
