Site Manager – $3M Remedial Balcony Repair Project

- Duration: 6-Month Contract
- Remuneration: $500 – $650 per day + Super (Negotiable based on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Manager to lead a major $3M remedial balcony repair project on the Central Coast. This project requires a hands-on, authoritative leader with deep expertise in structural remedial works and high-end balcony refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Site Supervision: Drive day-to-day operations across the $63 footprint, ensuring all concrete repairs, structural framing, membrane applications, and tile reinstatements meet rigorous standards.
- Subcontractor Management: Direct and coordinate specialist trades (demolition, concrete, waterproofing, tiling, and balustrading) to maintain tight project schedules.
- OH&S; & Compliance: Cultivate a strict safety culture, managing high-risk work environments (scaffolding, work at heights) and ensuring 100% compliance with WHS regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed step-by-step QA inspections to prevent future water ingress or structural defects.
- Progress Reporting: Partner closely with the Project Manager to track milestones, manage variations, oversee material logistics, and keep costs aligned with budget.

What We Are Looking For:
To excel in this role, you must bring extensive experience in complex building remediations.

Experience & Skills:

- Remedial Expertise:



Demonstrable experience leading multi-unit or high-value residential/commercial balcony remediation projects ($3M+ scope).
- Proven Track Record: Minimum 3–5+ years as a Site Manager or Senior Foreman on structural remedial projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of concrete spall repair, structural steel/posts, balustrade systems, substrate preparation, liquid and sheet membrane systems, and flashing details.
- Leadership Skills: A confident leader with strong communication and site-level dispute-resolution skills, capable of keeping subbies accountable to tight timelines.
- Tickets & Licences: White Card, relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Builder, Carpenter, or Waterproofer), Working at Heights, and a valid driver’s licence.
