The Role.

We are looking for an experienced Parts Manager to join our team at our Perth branch and lead the Parts and Stores function, ensuring the efficient supply of parts to both internal departments and external customers. This role is responsible for overseeing parts sales, purchasing, inventory management and warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Working closely with the Branch, Sales and Service Managers, you will play a key role in driving business performance, supporting your team and identifying opportunities to grow the parts business.

Key Responsibilities.

In this role you will be responsible for the following.

- Receive and action parts enquiries from internal and external customers, providing accurate interpretation, pricing and quotations.
- Manage purchasing activities, monitor re-order reports and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels across the central store, service vans and site containers through regular stocktakes.
- Oversee the receiving, checking and allocation of incoming parts deliveries.
- Lead, supervise and support the Parts and Stores team to achieve high productivity and customer service standards.
- Monitor parts sales performance and identify opportunities to grow parts revenue.
- Review systems and processes to continuously improve departmental efficiency and performance.
- Maintain a clean, organised, safe and secure parts department.

Qualifications and Experience.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following qualifications and experience.





- Minimum 5 years' experience in parts interpretation, ideally within the mobile equipment, construction, mining or a related industry.
- Proven experience in parts or inventory management.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems, such as Great Plains, will be highly regarded.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and inventory management capability.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support and drive sales performance.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
