What you'll be doing
Attain training in Obstetric Medicine (6 months accredited with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians,
with potential for 12 months accreditation with the Society of Obstetric Medicine Australia and New Zealand); care for women and families with complications in pregnancy; to link this with overall care of chronic medical conditions as a general physician.
This position meets criteria for endocrine elective accreditation.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Completed FRACP Part 1.
- Excellent theoretical knowledge and clinical judgement.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team - diligence, punctuality, organization, record keeping, time management, problem solving skills, team work.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) with patients, their families, medical and non-medical colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and expert clinical care.
- Demonstrated Commitment to ongoing Advanced Training education, research and teaching.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
