Happy Alley is a growing café and bakery known for its cookies, coffee, and fresh sandwiches. We're looking for a reliable, organised team leader who enjoys food preparation, working efficiently during busy service periods, and maintaining a clean, well-run kitchen.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare fresh ingredients
- Assemble sandwiches to order with speed, consistency, and attention to detail
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Receive, rotate, and store stock correctly following food safety procedures
- Keep workstations clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout service
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
- Complete daily cleaning schedules and maintain a clean kitchen environment
- Contribute to a positive, professional,



and team-oriented workplace culture

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a café, sandwich shop, takeaway, or quick-paced kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends as required
