At Mexex we're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader to join our production team. Experience in food manufacturing is advantageous, but we're equally interested in people with strong leadership skills who are ready to bring their experience into the food industry and grow their career with us.

About the Role

As a hands-on Team Leader, you'll be responsible for supporting and leading a production team to deliver high-quality products safely, efficiently, and on time.

You'll receive training and support to develop your understanding of food manufacturing processes, food safety requirements, and production leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading, motivating, and supporting a production team on the factory floor
- Ensuring products are produced safely and meet quality standards
- Monitoring team performance and providing coaching and feedback
- Maintaining a positive, protected, and collaborative team culture
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Engineering teams

What We're Looking For

You'll be successful if you have:

- Previous experience leading, coordinating, or supervising a team
- The ability to coach, motivate, and develop others
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A hands-on approach and willingness to learn
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Food manufacturing experience, GMP, HACCP, or food safety knowledge is beneficial, but not essential. We can provide training to the right leader.
